Baby development
I have ribs, blood vessels, and retinas. My hearing has now evolved so much that I can perceive sound.
However, my brain hearing center is not fully developed so I don’t hear so well yet. The external genitals are fully developed and can be seen during an ultrasound. However, I may be a little uncooperative, making it difficult to determine exactly what gender I am. So if my parents can’t wait until I’m born to find out my sex, they might still be surprised when I finally arrive.
I look like a little person now, at last. But I need to grow into myself and develop more before I can survive outside the womb.
